Limited to only 20 guitars worldwide, the ESP USA M-III Koa Limited Edition is a stunning example of the craftsmanship found in our USA manufacturing facility. This mahogany-bodied guitar is topped with high-grade figured Koa, a dense wood found only in the Hawaiian Islands that is renowned for both its beautiful grain and its effect on articulate tone. The M-III Koa Special Edition also makes use of a roasted maple neck in a thin “U shape for incredibly smooth, comfortable playing, and is paired with an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets. All of the components of the USA M-III Koa are of the highest caliber, and designed for players who can accept no compromises. These include the sonic versatility of Seymour Duncan STK-S4 stacked single-coil pickups, offering the clarity of tone you need without the typical single-coil noise, along with a Seymour Duncan Custom Shop 78 humbucker for that coveted late-1970s sound that can easily range between everything from hard rock/metal to jazz fusion by simply backing off the guitars volume. This guitar, collectible and rare from day one, is built at our California factory, and includes an official certificate of authenticity from ESP USA.

OVERVIEW

The ESP USA M-III overflows with high-performance versatility. It sports an alder body with a flamed maple top, bolt-on roasted maple neck, 25.5″ scale and 24 extra-jumbo frets on an ebony fingerboard on a thin-U neck. And a pair of Seymour Duncan Custom Shop ’78 (B), STK-S4 (M & N) pickups pushes killer tone to your amp. A Floyd Rose Original tremolo bridge allows for all the dive bombs and squeals your brain can conjure, while Sperzel tuners keep everything cinched down and in tune through heavy crunches and string-stretching leads.
